Zachary Ryan Trout was born at 2:04 p.m. at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. He weighed 6 lbs. 7 1/2 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long. The delivery was a breeze! We were induced at 7:30 a.m. Dr. Riegal broke Beth's water at 9:30 a.m. and we were ready to go at 1:45 p.m. Only 19 minutes later, Zachary arrived into the world! Thanks for being so easy on your mom, Zach!Zach was put on soy formula because he was having trouble keeping down the regular formula. Since the switch he has been doing great. He left the hospital at 6 lbs. 4 oz. and when he went to the Dr. for his 1 week appointment he weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. Now, that's good eatin'.
Since he has been home he has been nothing but a joy. He entertains himself so mom can make dinner. He has been sleeping 3-4 hours at night. He likes to take walks with mom in the afternoon and play with dad when he gets home from work. He enjoys taking baths at night as well. Mom and Zach have been running daily errands and he seems to sleep through them all!Beth is doing well. She has made a full recovery (for those of you worried!!) She is headed back to work on July 9th. Matt is a wonderful father to Zach. He feeds him, changes dirty diapers, and
plays with him. Zach and mom are very lucky!
